Jesse L. Nemeth
Production Designer
Raised
in a creative atmosphere on the East End of Long Island, Jesse drew upon
the energy of NYC and was inspired to pursue painting at The School of
Visual Arts as a Fine Arts major.
Jesse's first job
in New York City was working for "The Jon Stewart Show".
Beginning as a prop coordinator and fabricator for the busy art department
on the daily talk show gave Jesse the drive to explore the evolution of
his chosen pursuit.
Jesse went on to
foster a prolific freelance career as an art director in the film production
industry, working alongside and gaining artistic insight from well regarded
directors and visionaries including Dean Karr, Phillip Atwell, and Liz
Friedlander. Through this exposure Jesse formed strong working relationships
with NYC prop houses and production companies.
In the spring of
1997 Jesse founded Kaboom! which quickly became one of the premiere set
design studios in the business. This endeavor allows Jesse to be responsible
for qualitative control throughout the creative process, encompassing
his unique experiences as a meticulous working artist.
